What is Navagraha Shanti Puja ?
Navagraha Shanti Puja is a revered Vedic ritual dedicated to appeasing and balancing the influences of the nine celestial planetary deities (Navagrahas). In Vedic astrology, each planet governs specific aspects of life, including health, career, relationships, and spiritual growth.
The purpose of Navagraha Shanti Puja is to invoke the benevolent cosmic energies of Surya, Chandra, Mangala, Budha, Guru, Shukra, Shani, Rahu, and Ketu, fostering domestic peace, removing obstacles, and restoring equilibrium.
The ceremony includes authentic Shodashopachara worship, sacred Navadhanya grain offerings, consecrated kalash sthapana, planetary stotra recitations, and, where appropriate, Navagraha Homam.
At Bhavishya Darshana, Darshan Deekshit Guruji personally guides devotees on the traditional procedure according to their Janma Kundali and spiritual needs.
